There have been rumors that the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra will not have a slot for the S Pen. Now, a recent leak suggests the phone will come with an S Pen after all.
A notable leaker on X with the handle @UniverseIce has posted the alleged frame of the S26 Ultra. The frame clearly reveals a slot meant for the S Pen, confirming that the phone will come with an S Pen.
It remains to be seen if it will have Bluetooth support like the models before the S25 Ultra. Removal of the Bluetooth feature from the S25 Ultra S Pen really hit the fans of the stylus hard. Samsung might have thought few people find it useful, but it turns out, many do.
You can do a lot of things with the Bluetooth S Pen, like using it to capture pictures with the camera, pause and play music or videos, open apps, and scroll through photos without touching the screen, taking a screenshot remotely, and translating texts to other languages just by hovering it over the text, among others.
The S Pen is signature to the Galaxy Notes series until Samsung decided to stop making it and moved it to the S series with the launch of the S21 Ultra. Although the S21 Ultra didn’t have a slot for it, you will need a case to hold it after buying it as a separate accessory.
The S22 Ultra fully debuted with the S Pen and a slot to hold and charge it, just like the previous Note series did. It remains to be seen if Samsung will bring the S26 Ultra with Bluetooth S Pen support.
